When thinking of the month we spent as volunteers at Eco Moyo, so many emotions and memories come to mind. Thank you to the wonderful community of Eco Moyo for everything you have taught us. You welcomed us with open arms and let us into a community filled with so much love and friendship. We have enjoyed every second of it. It’s difficult to put into words the joy you feel when you're surrounded by the children of Eco Moyo. The laughter, the smiles and the warm hugs. You simply have to experience it for yourself. One of the greatest moments from volunteering at Ecomoyo is seeing the look on a students face when they realize they learned something new. They’re always eager to share their achievements with us and are constantly striving to improve in academics. Their dedication is both inspiring and admirable. They refuse to give up and keep trying their best, even if a task might seem hard to understand. What we will miss most about African culture, is the way children express themselves through singing and dancing. Whether it’s the beautiful singing during PPI or the incredible skills at Girls Club dance parties, we have loved being a part of it all. These kids are so talented and we have enjoyed getting to know each and everyone of them. Their specialty is definitely doing incredible tricks, flipping through the air after launching off tires. This is amazing to watch, but always make our hearts stop. Their football skills have also impressed us with an extreme speed on the field. Boys and girls play together with such a unique and positive team spirit. Everyone is included and invited to play, no matter the age or the gender. We are also so thankful for being a part of art club where there is as much painting being done as laughing. Thank you so much for our time here at Eco Moyo! We would really recommend this experience to anyone that’s considering going. You will make memories and bonds that you’ll remember for the rest of your lives. Thank you and hope to see you soon.

Sincerely, Sirin and Linnea.
